DIRECT DOWNLOADING OF LECTURES
Right click the link to the lecture, and choose to "Save Target As," or "Save Linked File." Choose a location to save the .mp3 file on your computer. The .mp3 file then can be played using any of the major media players (Windows Media, Real, Quicktime) or any .mp3 jukebox software.
SUBSCRIPTION TO LECTURES USING ITUNES
You can subscribe to a course which will then automatically download each new lecture as it is posted. Using iTunes (download the latest version of iTunes to ensure podcast compatability) or any other RSS 2.0 aggregator makes it possible for you to subscribe once and never have to return to this website.
1. Copy the website address of the subscription feed (under the course title on each course web page) by right clicking the link and selecting "Copy." If you are unable to copy the link in this manner, just highlight the website address and select Edit, Copy from the menu in your browser.
2. Open iTunes if it is not already open.
3. Under the Advanced Menu, Select "Subscribe to Podcast."
4. Right click and select "Paste," to paste the website
address for the SPCH101 podcast subscription link.
5. If you are successful, iTunes will automatically download
the most recent lecture. If there are earlier lectures you wish to download,
click the "GET" button by the lecture you wish to download. Future lectures
will automatically download when available every time you relaunch the iTunes
program.
